2017 in not over yet but we have already started buying new motorcycles for the Spyder Motorcycles 2018 fleet. So what’s on the list so far?
We have started a new relationship with Yamaha UK and following their kind loan of the MT-10 Tourer Edition for our Season Finale trip in Spain during November, we have bought the very same bike, it was superb.
We have popped into Ducati and made one or two purchases. Today we picked up an XDiavel S, Scrambler Desert Sled and Multistrada 1200 S with Touring pack.
In the new year we are expecting the Multistrada 1260 S with Touring pack and rather stunning Panigale V4 S. Now come on, who doesn’t want to try these two?
We have also ordered two KTM machines, another 1290 Super Adventure, because it’s so damn good, and a bike I can’t wait to ride, the 790 Duke. We’re hoping that it will be delivered in time for our Spain trip in April.
Many years ago we had a Husqvarna Nuda R, it was hilarious and really popular with all the members. We are hoping for the same from the Vitpilen 701, something a little different and very funky.
And then there’ll be BMW motorcycles to come, including the 16 bike BMW lease fleet consisting of a R1200 GS TE Exclusive and GSA Triple Black, an R nineT, Racer S, Scrambler X and Urban GS X, and S1000 RR, XR and R.
And finally, for now, we have the new MV Augusta Brutale 800 RR coming in February-March, it’s already at Bennett’s Motorcycles waiting.
