We had a great catch up on Tuesday with the guys from Metzeler and talked about the new Sportec M7 RR
It’s interesting because it is a tyre developed largely from Metzeler’s experience through the TT and other British road races so it truly is a tyre developed for British roads.
Often people settle for a sports-touring tyre as they want a tyre that can do a bit of everything – track, motorway, road and touring – albeit none really well. The M7 RR is dual compound and purports to excel at all of them.
We’ll hopefully have some on one of the fleet bikes soon so we’ll gauge Spyder Club member opinion but hey, if it’s good enough for Guy Martin…
